Summer Fun

1. Some times friends just need to kick back & relax
2. Hope this brightens up your day
3. Guess everyone wants to be first
4. OK our towns population is said to be 700 yet we have a Holiday Inn go figure.
5&6 I read in the paper in the future we will keep more of our water this is a winter then now shot.
With this group I really wish I had used a Tripod. It wasn't the camera's fault.

April Snow
|
|
Well in North Georgia one thing I hadn't planned on waking up to in April was snow. Like most snows here
if you wait a couple hours it melts away. Though on the mountains it may not disappear that same day.
Temperatures were around 32F or 0C so guess anything was possible. For me seeing the pink dogwood backed
by the white snow produced something beautiful. Snow Clouds at least where on the way out. Wonder what
our future neighbors are expecting our climate to be. If the pink stands out the purple looks to my eyes even better.
However one color we seem to always find is green .
1. Snow on the mountain.
2. Pink of dogwood against the snow.
3. Clouds may have had more snow but didn't.
4. New houses just keep on showing up.
5. Purple looks good on white too.
6. Some plants just stay green all year round.

A little of our Spring
|
|
Today has been rainy however I still have a few pictures of our spring I'll share.
1. The Sun makes for a good picture.
2. Trees can add to the view.
3. Adds color for part of the year.
4. Even the trees have color.
5. These will grow if you cut one off and stick it in the ground. That's how this 1 got started.
6. This willow tree looks nice most of the year.

Easter Sunday
|

Well Other than some Pictures I really like I don't have anything special
for you this Easter I hope you enjoy what I have to offer.
1. The first race of the year this one was for Special Olympics. A 5K & a fun
run I do the 5K this one was mostly flat.
2. Hope I can share this Orchid with You for years to come. However I'll
admit if you see this flower next year it willbe a first.My record isn't good with plants.
3. This one shows some plant life and the last moments of a wonderful day.
4. This shows a colorful begining of another day.
5. Duchess always brightens up my day and the tree doesn't hurt.
6. I believe the best picture I've ever taken of the moon. I know a lot of You have done better.
I'd like to wish all of you a happy holiday & wish you the best in the summer or Winter if in
the Southern Hemisphere ahead.

A week in Spring
|
|
Well this week has been filled with mountains to climb. For most of the time I haven't been able to get on line. Something
I'm certain most of you have experienced. The color of these violets is the color TV fans associate with this TV talk show
host. Do you know the ladies name? This was to have been Thursdays question. Next this flower makes a beautiful spring carpet.
Last week I forgot to tell you the story of the three birds. They are always together and one has had a leg bitten off probably
by a snaper when it was young. Some of you have pictures of trees in bloom which are better than any I've seen here. However
I'm happy for what I get to see daily. I know you like color in your skies so hope this makes you smile. With the last picture I
like wind vanes and the sky in this one didn't hurt. Hope you all have a great week and thanks for stopping by.

Answer for Thursday picture "Bird on a wire" was a film staring Mel Gibson & Goldie Hawn in 1990.
